This hobby is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves into something,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 or want to forget worldly things and  be free from thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 To be involved with the Buddha does not mean being governed by any religion, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

so let us freely enjoy Buddha sculpture. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This application is an overview and preparation for understanding Buddha sculpture in Nara City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To use this app, please first take a look at the information about Buddha statues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also references listed, and obtaining those, if you have a chance would be very useful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nara Engineering Arts Museum, which exhibits Nara crafts,is also introduced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, please check out  the examples of the Buddha sculpture although it is novice’s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a sequel to this app, an application about the Buddha sculpting process\u3000is being planned.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I have wanted to engrave a Buddha statue for many years and I am committed to enjoying it now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This hobby is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 into something, or want to forget worldly things and be free from thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doing Buddha sculpture after retirement might be often considered a hobby to prevent senility, but this is not the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The weight of a 1300-year long history, and the excellence of the art<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 that is the Buddha sculpture, this wonderful culture gives me satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to forever keep this tradition in importance,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and for the youth to take over in cherishing it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
